The challenge

We have been providing IT outsourcing for years - so we know from experience the importance of skilfully sourcing the best candidates and matching them to the specifics of a project. We are also well aware that the best experts do not waste time browsing through multiple offers. They value their time and expect personalised proposals that fit their profile and development needs.

Our ambition is to meet the needs of both our clients and experts by offering more than others. That is why we have decided to provide them with the opportunity to use an innovative 'inverted job board' platform, which will automatically verify the available offers to match the skills and needs of the candidates and, above all, search for and proactively recommend perfectly fitting projects to the user. Every expert registered on hub.connectis.pl will be analysed in terms of the match between their competences and skills and the active offers of our clients. In the event of a match to a particular project exceeding 80%, the expert will receive a notification with the option to quickly apply and arrange a meeting.

The solution

‍

The initial challenges of the Connectis Platform project included:

• Creating a compelling value proposition for users
• Creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface to facilitate the onboarding process (one-time profile creation) and subsequent project and appointment selection
• Ensuring the security and privacy of candidate data
• Automating the process of matching offers to candidates
• Ensuring fast response times, made possible by an effective notification system

From the outset, Connectis Platform was designed to automatically present projects that align with experts' strengths and development needs. It also provides simple and user-friendly tools to manage the profile and schedule of meetings, thanks to an iteratively improved user experience. Furthermore, to ensure that the solutions are engaging and relevant to the needs of the audience, thanks to the transparency of the platform's development process - from the FUT (Friendly User Test) stage, through the wide-open beta, to the ongoing improvements reported to us by the community on our dedicated Discord server. 

Additionally, we sought to assist experts in identifying areas of expertise that would lead to an increase in both the number of tailored offers and their market value.

We used the following services from our portfolio to carry out this comprehensive project:

Generative AI: 

• Supporting Connectis_'s process of requesting detailed information from clients (generating questions to help elicit additional information about the project relevant to the candidates' needs)
• The creation of project descriptions tailored to candidates' preferences and the language they use
• Generating personalised recommendations used by Connectis in interviews with candidates (presenting project information in a way that is tailored to the specific candidate - their strengths, priorities, needs)

Data & ML/AI:

• Analysis of project data (requirements, budget, duration)
• Analysis of candidate data (CV, experience, skills, preferences).
• Development of an algorithm for matching candidates to projects based on candidate profiles and project requirements
• Building predictive models to estimate candidate matching success on a given project
• Iterative refinement of the algorithm based on collected data
• Monitoring, analysis and recommendations on KPIs (e.g. number of applications, matching time, user satisfaction)

• Cloud platform to host and scale the Connectis Platform

The result

The implementation of the Connectis Platform has delivered a number of benefits, including:

• Increase in the talent pool: thanks to a targeted and implemented user value proposition 
• Increase in the number of candidate applications per project: the automation and quality of the analysis process relieved the burden on the end users and minimised the risk on their side (as candidates quickly and positively verified our recommendations, they were more willing and more likely to check out the next ones)
• Increase in the degree of candidate matching: the data-driven recommendation system increased interest in the presented offers among those experts we cared most about (we gained their trust)
• Increase in user satisfaction and Success Rate of implemented processes: the quality of the solution we provided created a good first impression on candidates, which then facilitated the finalisation of the process to the benefit of all parties
• Increase in customer satisfaction: the quality of the candidates and the shortening of the candidate acquisition process ensured faster and more tailored support for customer projects
