Our client is one of Europe's leading insurance companies. To remain competitive and meet its business objectives, it needed fast and efficient IT support for its key projects. Some of these projects, due to their specific nature, required very good knowledge of the insurance industry.

The solution

Our IT experts developed the following projects within Application Engineering services and were responsible for planning subsequent tasks and iterations, designing and implementing the solution, supporting the deployment of the solution into production, and stabilisation and maintenance:

• Breaking down the monolithic part into domains and microservices using a Domain Driven Design approach to increase the scalability, flexibility and maintainability of the systems
• Building and extending systems in a distributed microservice architecture and a monolithic architecture for claims reporting and handling systems
• Designing and implementing automated tests for the claims reporting and handling system and ensuring the high quality and stability of the systems 
• Applying the test pyramid concept to ensure an appropriate level of test coverage
